Khrushchev in my opinion was not really a deep thinker. His shallow idea to solve all his problems was to seal his borders, complete with barbed wire, machine guns and soldiers. I'm sure there are many shallow minded posters on this site who think that is exactly what we need to do. Still, there are many stories of determined people who ran that Iron Curtain, and ISIL is very determined, and if they want to risk their life to get in to kill us, some will run the border and succeed.
