Obama’s Border Policy Fueled Epidemic, Evidence Shows

The deadly EV-D68 enterovirus epidemic, which struck thousands of kids this fall, was likely propelled through America by President Barack Obama’s decision to allow tens of thousands of Central Americans across the Texas border, according to a growing body of genetic and statistical evidence.

The evidence includes admissions from top health officials that the epidemic included multiple strains of the virus, and that it appeared simultaneously in multiple independent locations.

The question can be settled if federal researchers study the genetic fingerprint of the EV-D68 viruses that first hit kids in Colorado, Missouri and Illinois to see if they are close relatives to the EV-D68 viruses found in Central America.

Officials ”have to do the genetic analysis” to disprove or prove the link, Nora Chapman, an enterovirus scientist at the University of Nebraska, told The Daily Caller.

But there’s already more than enough statistical evidence for American citizens to demand that scientists test the viruses to see if Obama’s progressive border priorities spread the dangerous contagion throughout the country during 2014.

So far, that virus has been found in nine American kids who died from illness, has apparently inflicted unprecedented polio-like paralysis in roughly 50 kids, and has put hundreds of young American kids into hospital emergency wards and intensive care units throughout more than 40 states.

  2. Too bad the establishment republicans are so desperate to pass amnesty and have open borders that they won't be able to use this mystery virus epidemic against obama.

Immigration is the number one issue with voters, yet you will not hear it from any republican party figure or official, Jeff Sessions being the rare exception.

If you have kids... you read 50 are paralyzed and some dyed because of this mystery virus... and you wonder what type crazy unfeeling traitors support this open border policy.

I do a lot of facebook advertising and I recently switched more than half of it to another source. Hopefully that source works out.

It is amazing more Republicans did not get on this.
Right now... Cruz and the house guys who work with him seem to be the few thinking Americans in Congress.

I realize the the traitors to Americans can characterize the above as fearful. But I understand the odds so far.

But, these SOBs are purchasing tickets in lottery we don't need to be playing and then forcing our kids to hold the tickets.

The fact the odds were long against paralysis is not any consolation for the the child who can't move.

(not to mention the other problems created by open border policies.)

Even if this lady does not have ebola... we need to spending tax dollars on this like we need more deficit spending.

A Liberian woman with a 102-degree fever was hospitalized in the Portland, Oregon, area on Friday and is undergoing testing for Ebola, reports The Oregonian.

"We had hoped this wouldn't happen," said Providence Health & Services regional Chief Executive Dave Underriner.

The Oregonian reports that the woman "recently arrived in Portland and was monitoring herself for Ebola symptoms under a voluntary program" and that "a source told The Oregonian she arrived from Liberia on Tuesday evening." According to the Los Angeles Times, the woman flew through one of the five U.S. airports screening travelers entering the U.S. from Ebola-stricken countries.

Oregon officials have remained tight-lipped about the woman or her background, citing privacy issues. She remains in isolation at Providence Milwaukie Hospital until test results determine the cause of her illness and temperature. Reuters originally reported that the woman was an "Oregon resident." However, both The Oregonian and the Los Angeles Times flatly dispute that characterization.

"The patient is not an Oregon resident," reports the Los Angeles Times. "She had been staying in a household in the Portland area."

Doctors say the Liberian woman's temperature spike was cause for alarm. "It got our attention because it was over 102 degrees," said Dr. Paul Lewis.

As someone who commutes to Canada each week...I should further mention that when you arrive in Canada during the past week, you are aggressively questioned about your potential exposure to Ebola. If you have been anywhere near the West African nations in the past 30 days then you are denied entry (no matter your citizenship). If you hold a passport/visa from one of the impacted West African nations (even if you have not been there during the past 30 days) then you are denied entry. The measures are stringent and match what many other nations are doing.

REPORT: 1,400 PEOPLE IN US BEING MONITORED FOR EBOLA

While Ebola may not be dominating the news cycle anymore, some 1,400 individuals are currently being actively monitored for the deadly virus in the United States.

The 1,400 individuals are "being monitored because they came from one of the four countries with ongoing Ebola outbreaks," the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said in a statement, according to investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson.

Those being monitored reportedly reside in 44 states across the nation. They have all recently returned from trips to West Africa, where numerous countries remain heavily afflicted by Ebola.

The Obama Administration recently announced that all passengers traveling to the U.S. from affected West African nations must fly into one of five airports where "enhanced screening measures" will be present: New York's John F. Kennedy, Newark, Dulles, Atlanta, and Chicago.

A United Nations document, obtained by Breitbart Texas, stated, "Passengers flying into one of these airports from flights originating in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea are subject to secondary screening and added protocols, including having their temperatures taken, before they can be admitted to the United States. These airports account for about 94 percent of travelers flying to the United States from these countries. At present there are no direct, non-stop commercials flights from Liberia, Sierra Leone or Guinea to any airport in the United States."

Subsequent to Thomas Eric Duncan, a Liberian man, bringing Ebola into the U.S., it took the federal government several weeks to instate travel restrictions from afflicted nations. In early October, more than a dozen flights from Liberia were available on any given day. For instance, travels were able to purchase a ticket for as little as $1,400 that gets them from Monrovia, Liberia, to Washington, DC.

At this point, in addition to designating the five airports for at-risk travelers, the CDC has additionally released a list of current U.S.-based Ebola treatment centers. In total, 35 hospitals are listed.
