Atomic clock download works fine in XP 32 bit, always has.

Atomic clock in Win 7 64 bit will not sync..........any workarounds?

In the box with XP the clock will sync 50 seconds before the clock in 7.

Surely there must be a way to get the computer clock in 7 64 bit to display the correct time.

    Install Windows XP 64 bit.

  3. I just updated mine on Friday - here is what I did

    1. change the time server from time.microsoft.com to one of the nist time servers

    2. change the following registry key

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\TimeProviders\NtpClient
    (SpecialPollInterval)

where the value is in seconds, so 3600 is hourly.

The microsoft time server is the biggest culprit; on my systems it's off by at least 15 seconds consistently. Nist is in perfect alignment with IB's server time.
