Yeah well, i see that International law and geneva convention and the UN really worked with: Oh....Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Sudan, N.Korea, the list goes on....You don't want Intl. law for all...just for the U.S...and that's BS....the UN is a total waste of time...they set deadlines that get ignored and they won't enforce their own mandates...colossal waste of US money and time.
AAA, oh man i never felt more left than when i read your posts on this other thread 2cents referred to ... take care. i safe my time 'n breath and would appreciate if you would do the same. seriously. the two of us are too far away from each other to find common ground for a good debate. nevertheless, good trading to you.
hm. i do not want to disagree to everything you say and i see your point. international law is supposed to work for all. your indication "just for the U.S." is wrong. nobody wants that. but it is quite strange that especially US does not ratify this as well as Kyoto. i mean that is a little ... driven by daily politics and not principles. and this is exactly the problem of this administration, everything that does not fit in their current plan is ruled out. no matter what it is ...
OK, but I do appreciate your courtesy and rational tone. Just try to understand that there are people of good faith who sincerely disagree with you, not because the US wants to rule the world or dictate to other countries, but because we hold our sovereignty and right to self-government to be vitally important. We were sucked into european wars twice in the 20th century, so forgive us if we are a bit skeptical of the wisdom of europe and its leaders.
He did not "blow up". He just defended himself and placed the blame where it is due the stupid and inept right winger, hypocritical, fascist criminals of this country. The Cheney, Bush mafia. They will pay for their crimes - that is for sure. Failed Foreign Policy We must face up to some embarrassing facts; after 9/11, we are the invaders and occupiers of two Muslim countries as well as maintain bases (new ones mind you) all over the Middle East including Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States. Whether we have sufficient reasons to currently occupy Iraq and Afghanistan is debatable. We are nation builders in a costly and questionably successful war in Afghanistan when the US supported government is only control of Kabul and the surrounding areas and Heroin production has flourished to the level of the pre Taliban era. Iraq is near a civil war. These are the facts, bush apologists!!!!
points taken. i see - and respect - where you are coming from. it is good to have a discussion and end it with mutual respect.
