  1. Of course one the stupidest guys on ET thinks a very smart guy like Charlie Rose is a moron.

The polar vortex dipping down this far IS likely due to global warming.

what bedrock principle can you establish using science.

I just showed you that nasa scientists are are telling you increased co2 causes increased plant life which causes increased aerosols which causes cooling.

Recent studies by NASA scientists and others have been calling into question or reversing the mumbo jumbo put out by hansen, mann and the govt grant whores.

everyone with a brain now knows greenhouse gases can cause cooling or warming and our climate system is dynamic.

I spend nearly every week in Canada working on banking IT stuff.

Every person in Canada with an IQ above 80 would completely mock your assertion that the "polar vortex dipping down this far IS likely due to global warming".

I find it amusing that the ignorant pin-head over at Time magazine is pushing the same nonsense. These are the same clowns in the 1970s who pushed that global cooling was a huge threat that was going to end life as we know it. Their current headline is:

Climate Change Might Just Be Driving the Historic Cold Snap

The height of scientific ignorance is once again displayed by Time.

Arctic westerlies have been diverted south by warm, stable air over Greenland. Any Canadian with an IQ over 80 understands this. ; )

And none of this is associated with AGW. Any Canadian with an IQ over 80 understands this. ; )

The poles are warming much faster than the rest of the globe.

    Edit: hehehe...

Only 2 per cent of Canadians don’t believe in climate change: poll

"Only 2 per cent of Canadians who responded to a new opinion poll believe climate change is not occurring.

"The findings are in a survey conducted by Insightrix Research, Inc. for IPAC-CO2 Research Inc., a Regina-based centre that studies carbon capture and storage.

"The online poll of 1,550 people was done between May 29 and June 11. The results were to be released on Wednesday.

"“Our survey indicates that Canadians from coast to coast overwhelmingly believe climate change is real and is occurring, at least in part due to human activity,” said centre CEO Carmen Dybwad.

"Respondents were asked where they stood on the issue of climate change.

"Almost one-third – 32 per cent – said they believe climate change is happening because of human activity, while 54 per cent said they believe it’s because of human activity and partially due to natural climate variation. Nine per cent believe climate change is occurring due to natural climate variation.

"Two per cent said they don’t believe climate change is occurring at all."

  9. Dr Jennifer Francis, professor of Atmospheric Science at Rutgers University, explained earlier this year how the loss of summer Arctic sea ice has led to the weakening of the polar vortex leading to more extreme weather. The weakened jet stream develops large north-south meanders, causing extreme weather events.

Next time they need to poll 1,550 Canadians with an IQ above 80.

...and the IPAC-CO2 Research Inc. Centre that promotes climate change policy can hardly be considered unbiased.
