NASA is one the four most authoritative sources of climate information in the world.

NASA's scientific conclusions:

1. GLOBAL WARMING HAS SLOWED
2. IT IS A MYSTERY TO NASA WITH RESPECT TO WHY IT HAS SLOWED
3. TEMP IN TOP HALF OF WORLD'S OCEANS ARE NOT CLIMBING FAST ENOUGH TO ACCOUNT FOR STALLED AIR TEMPS
4. WARMING IN DEEP OCEAN IS NOT CAUSING SEA LEVEL RISE
5. WATER TEMP IN DEEP OCEAN HASN'T RISEN SINCE 2005
6. AIR TEMPERATURES HAVE STALLED

If you are not in total agreement with every single statement above, you have a problem with one the four most authoritative sources of climate information in the world.

Go tell NASA that you are right and they are wrong. Let me know their response.

 

94% of the earth's heat is in the oceans. The oceans are gaining heat ever faster without pause. Therefore the earth is still gaining heat without pause. The atmosphere has very little to do with the heat content of the earth and it's temps are largely controlled by the oceans. Thus we had a peak in 98. Which has now been bested by this year.

 

Then go tell NASA they are wrong and you are correct. Please let me know NASA's response.

Another illustration that your religious beliefs are so strong that you refuse to accept scientific conclusions from NASA itself.

 

I spent a couple of years in the military working in the weather field. I'm fully aware of urban heat islands. The problem with the adjustments is that the oldest years' data were adjusted downward and the newest years' data has the temperature adjusted upward. The urban heat island effect has increased, not diminished, over the years. These adjustments amplify the effect of urban heat islands, not reduce them.

As far as data being destroyed, there's a letter from GISS in response to a Congressional inquiry that states the data was destroyed due to lack of storage space. And on the UK Met/CRU websites, if you look hard enough, you'll find the same statements ... they could not save the raw data due to lack of storage space.
