Classic republican screw up by new RNC chairman Steele

  1. Read this quote from Steele:

"“I went back at that tape and I realized words that I said weren’t what I was thinking,” Steele said."

    That is plausible deniability?

    LOL!

Good gravy, the republicans are a mess right now...

  2. Considering it's the dems in control right now, the last thing you should be worried about is the repubs.

Unless you're worried about the dems...

  3. I am not worried about them...

This is entertaining as hell watching the repubs try to find their footing...

Like watching a 3 stooges movie...

  4. I am sure Obama will provide them with their footing IF republicans learn how to be conservative again.

If I was an Obama supporter I would be worried as hell about inflation. Aren't you?

  5. I thought the same thing in 2004 about the dems being able to oust Bush, and who do they pick?

    That wimp Kerry...

You never know how badly a party can screw itself up.

    I support America, not Obama.

Inflation is one way to pay off debt. The problem right now is that we really do have a global economy with everyone mutually at risk, so I don't see one particular currency shining over others.

    Commodities are being dumped.

Germany has a big fear of inflation because of what happened to them following their inflation problem in the early 30's.

America has a big fear of deflation.

Gold "should" be much higher, at least that's what the buggers say, but gold is likely to be hoarded by the fearful, not used as a commodity to purchase life necessities.

A bigger concern is domestic violence which I have been talking about for some time now.

That is much more likely as a response by Americans to a failing government.

People never thought 9/11 could happen, and they think a bloody revolution attempt couldn't happen in America...

There are enough guns out there for anger to take shape in the form of violence against government as well as citizens.

Would things really be different if McCain had been elected?

    I don't think so...

It all depends on the long term prospects for a recovery from this mess we all got ourselves into...

I don't have a crystal ball, that is for the others around here.
