out be reenter -.12 stop at .22 with reverse Edit: if it breaks down (but looks like we have a buyer) will add twice
Out at .22 with a 10 tick loss, it should have reversed the position, but I'm flat (I must have not clicked it )
Picaso, Even though you're sim trading, don't forget to factor in the emotions. Otherwise, you're doing yourself great disservice. On the other hand, if your aim is to become a flipper, sim trading won't help ya. You must first overcome the psychological hurdle.
Thanks for the advice, Schizo, but could you please elaborate (later)? Good [st]luck[/st] skill with your short.
I shorted the breakout @ 75.43 (Aug), saw 18 ticks come right back to stop me out b/e. The break was such a quick move through I had visions of a 1.30 move dancing in my head. Oh, wait, it's exp Friday...
Yeah, I guessed you'd short it, sorry it didn't work, one more push down and it'd gone to 74.40. But, hey, you're taking (all) your trades, which is the important thing [Sorry I succumbed to the gambling urge, no disrespect to Schizo or his thread - and I do appreciate the advice]
Schizo, I know that you have had some very profitable swing trades in oil, but are you ok with leaving open a short position over a weekend, particularly when it doesn't have any open profit "cushion"? (An honest question)
