Nice trade. Shorted sim before at 75.90, .84, .77 exit be .84 (lost one tick) after missing a fill at 75.99.

Edit: if I had got filled, I would have been stopped out at be all the same, but about half an hour later

Still looking for a short, but it may not happen

Should have gone long at .60... blah, blah, blah :D

    Nice trade, btw

What a great day to trade oil, what shitty (non) trading on my part :( (Wait, I'm such a whiner :D)

Congrats to all those who made money today (which seems to be everybody) :)

Whew, glad it's not me for a change.

Wait, I decided I want to whine, too:

Blubaru, this is a true story:

Right around 12:25pm ET, one of my trading roomies said, "Looks down from here."

And I drew those two trend lines and said, "Yes it does, but we have a pennant (that's what I called the little triangle), and it could break either way. I should play the break but I don't care for this time of day, it'll probably churn back and forth in this range."

My instinct was to go long 76.68 and target 76.03 (a few ticks below that previous resistance), but I decided I needed a reason to whine later today and didn't trade it at all.

If I had traded it and made all that nice profit, I would still be whining over what I left on the table :p

  10. Nodoji: Triangle, pennant, flag, wedge, etc, honestly everything looks like a triangle to me. I just try not to lose too much when I trade them  Glad we saw the same thing, it means there are still SOME setups in CL even if they're few and far between.
