Mabenn, I don't doubt that one day you will trade 100 cars, but Trader198 was probably kidding you because you said you had made 70 points (dollars), not 70 ticks (cents) ;D

Congrats all the same, best trading

  3. “And again I saw under the sun that the reward goes not to him who is quick, or the fruits of war to the strong; and there is no bread for the wise, or wealth for men of learning, or respect for those who have knowledge; but time and chance come to all.” quoted from ecclesiastes (9:11) I did not think much and predict much, but I gained nicely today. Again lord, you told me I am playing a gambling game.

“Even man has no knowledge of his time; like fishes taken in an evil net, or like birds taken by deceit, are the sons of men taken in an evil time when it comes suddenly on them.” quoted from eccesliastes(9:12) I did not realize the bottom is 68.85, and did not toke the 69.9 long signal

Yes, it was, right off the rising 20 EMA, great trade man!

Mabenn, I'm glad you gave it a look. Some folks here had issue not long ago with the fact that I kept having winning days (isn't that kind of our goal, BTW?) and now you know one of my keys to the kingdom! I think it's an amazing set of basic trading tools, kind of like the day trader's hammer and saw ("I see," said the blind man, as he picked up his hammer and saw. )

Now, I believe you're rather new to this thread, and I'm sorry I didn't alert you early this morning when I had to leave for most of the day, but the other "spot on" signal is when I announce I'm leaving my office. Nine times out of ten a strong down move occurs right after I leave. I left around 10:05am and was that a valid short signal or what???

    :D

Simple is best in this game. My ES plan has me paying attention to MA's already so this made sense to me, a different/fresh way of looking at the 20 ema for sure.

Thanks for your insignt! Always appreciated. And yes, my objective is to have enough opportunity/expectancy to win every day.

I haven't read all the posts but it appears that a lot of you made a killing today. As for this noob, it was a three-ring circus. Up, down, up, followed by a large drawdown ($8,000)--only to end the day slightly in the red ($700). I can't seem to get out of this rut, grrrr!

  9. left the market at 2:40 around, and called off by wife for grass cutting, great swing there today.
YM is almost going through 10000, look in hindsight, what a classic textbook short sale when it bounces and forms a typical double top?
it is a sin for me, to post and to post, am I a trader or a poster? I get to seriously question myself. I will stop posting a while, and I must. if someone see me post tommorrow, please yell at me.

  10. Guys excuse me for my ignorance, but any of you know , if this bill of financial reform will affect us (Day traders), by any means from initial margins, etc, etc, or this it's just aiming at the banks?.............

I am little scare about it to be honest.

    Thanks for any response.
