Ive never looked at RBOB as a proxy, but it could be interesting. I have a few friends that trade Crude spreads, and the crack spreads, and they use heating oil, gasoil, crude, and natural gas (create some kind of custom synthetic basket) before putting on large position trades, which seems to be working well for them. Although I dont know the specific mechanics of the trade, im not sure if they look for divergence (i.e. leaders/follwers) or if they look for the whole energy complex to be at critical levels before buying/selling. Interesting approach though
You are right in general you do short the weak of two But Brent in last two sessions providing leadership in both directions literally, so DAX actions are justified

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I love watching trading videos, and this guy is awesome! Seems genuine as well, not like loads of the scammy vids on youtube. I wonder how he does it! The guy commentating is the video uploaders broker. I wonder if he, as a broker, has access to information that us guys aren't privvy too which helps him make his awesome trade calls. Seems to make loads of ticks nearly every single day.
