Libyan Foreign Minister Declares Immediate Ceasefire Last update: 3/18/2011 8:47:10 AM LONDON (Dow Jones)--Libya has ordered an immediate ceasefire in the wake of the United Nations resolution passed Thursday, Libyan Foreign Minister Musa Kusa said Friday. In comments broadcast live from the foreign ministry in Tripoli, Kusa said the country would "respond positively" to the resolution and halt all military operations. However, he expressed his "sadness" at aspects of the resolution, which he said would cause great harm to Libya and was a violation of the country's national sovereignty.
