PS: above every thing , these people movements are real , their aspirations to get better life are real , I am for it I am learning so much about middle east with above 2 posts. Iran getting best opportunity to raise it influence in the whole middle east with the SLOGAN pro-democracy ( but NO democracy at own home ) Where as US interests are best served by existing dictators , existing regimes limit the Iran influence over whole region, but they have to support these people movements for the sake of American values .. What a strange situation Camp 1: US (leader) , Saudi Arabia , israel, .... Camp 2: Iran (leader) , any country who oppose Israel, .... At stake: Egypt, bharin, many countries where people movements are raising Prize: both camps wanted these at stake countries to get into their camp .. This US , Iran proxy war is for long haul in the whole region. Tighten your seat belts
After seeing US service women being beaten with sticks by the Saudi religious police (for daring to drive cars! ) during the First Gulf War, while the Saudi king refused to call for a draft or take any emergency measures, I decided to stop trying to understand the Middle East.
I'm curious why you shorted after price broke through the overnight high this morning. Based on yesterday's close and the notes I posted yesterday, I was watching for a long entry when I got up this morning with a target of 90.40 (a previous daily R level closest to the 20-day EMA). I went long where you shorted (looks like about the same time) based on the 7:50am ET candle. I construed that as a very bullish candle that likely trapped shorts as well, and I bought a tick above its high and closed at 90.30 (failed to hit 90.40, but close enough for me). I trade pure technical, but you focus on fundamentals a lot and that is tricky for day trading, IMHO.
GM all, looks like my long opinion from a few days ago that we reach 92 soon based on the Middle East events is getting there. I will take only long trades that are backed up by this wind direction.
