Can't do that. Trade secrets. I will however, share my two favorites today because they spanned the entire price range: Short 88.14 at 07:15am ET and covered 87.75 at @ 07:42am Long 88.97 at 10:22am ET and sold 89.17 at 10:26am (arrived very late to that party...)
If today's price action doesn't turn me into a full fledged trend trader, then I'm completely hopeless...
sim long .90 lotto-stop (a few ticks, discretionary; hard stop at 10 ticks) target a new HOD :46 hard stop at .83 stop-limit to add at .97 :56 filled <del>.97</del><u>.99</u>, avg .95, stop .89 (2x6 ticks) [Thanks, Kid] Last order to add at .19 - not looking for a huge move, just a pop of another 20 ticks or so from HOD :59 Cancel stop to add; added via limit at .03; avg. 97; stop to be. :00 hard target at .48 :04 if ES pops a bit towards its HOD, I think we're getting there; if not will trail aggressively, bracketing the bid/ask :05 bracket .38-.55 :06 stopped out .37 (1 tick slippage); a tad impatient perhaps, considering ES looks bound to make a new HOD, but based on the CL T&S looks like... arrghh!!! damn, well, leaving some on the table to keep up the tradition
I need trader counseling. Long .98 (slipped 2 ticks on entry, despite having my buy stop in place for at least 20 minutes). Took 20 ticks profit, despite saying "measured move" at least twice when discussing the buy stop earlier. Picaso, just say something nice so I can stop whining.
Nah, it was a good call, but the ES happened to wake up just then. --- (continued from previous post - past the editing time limit) +40 ticks from average x 3 cars = 1,185 simbucks after simcomms (or +47 +39 + 34 from individual entries). Even if it is in sim, it sucks to be stopped out to the tick only to see the market race to your target (upper bracket)... ... [Deleted and reposted to add a chart... aaaaahh... the user-friendlyness of elitetrader...]
A lady with your looks shouldn't have to worry about making ticks/money. (Not calling you dumb bimbo blondie or anything ) Edit: so what was your target as per your measured move? (if it's not a trade secret, of course )
