Totally misreading the market today.

Gonna take a break - which probably means that 87.10 is the LOD of the day :D

    Was I saying?

  3. logged in late around 10, but 5 min chart has kept me away from clicking.

If I was focusing on 1 min , I would have made min 10 trades and PNL negative ( thats my way of losing money )

Even though CL is moving down I do not see strength.

OK, I've heard of geckos and dragons, but what is this chart formation right here? The "hung-like-a-horse" formation?

    What next??

    The better mousetrap pattern, indeed.

Edit: excuse me now, I'm going to throw up. :(

  6. You guys are simply hilarious :p Picaso's & Nodoji's levity may be worth as much as their trading insights. Please keep the humor coming...

btw, it seems that the EUR and CL are diverging today... Considering that they're aout 80% correlated, perhaps this would be an ideal time to spread/hedge with the two instruments (i.e. short EUR & long CL)...

    any thoughts...

My levity is worth waaaaay more than my trading insights, not saying it's worth much anyway :D Nodoji's golden, though.

IMHO, the thing with the euro is that it's trying to decide how those rising US yields affect it.

As for oil, I'm kind of surprised by its lack of strength today. Yes, lately it's a bit top-ish, like quite a few commodities, but it seems to be disconnecting from everything. (I know, I know: it was never connected in the first place and all these correlations are just in my head so I should just trade the damn green and red bars).

FWIW, it appears the "hung-like-a-horse" formation was a signal to get looong. :D

Not concentrated, too pissed off after you know what and unable to pull the trigger at .30-ish

    long .55

    stop at .49 (6 ticks)

Tentative target 88 flat, will see when/if we get there if I hold for .40-60ish

Stop-limit to add at .70 - plus some other add on a pullback

:59 filled at .70; stop to be at .63 and stopped out [2 tick slippage -> -5 ticks with comms], damn!
