This probably isn't the best place to post this, but I'm hoping someone might be able to help me anyways. Anybody have any recommendations to reduce eye strain? I keep my blinds up, but it's still dark outside. I keep my light on, but it's not really that great. I spend a lot of time in front of my computer. It probably doesn't matter, but I had Lasik eye surgery in June '06 and ever since then I've felt more eye strain than ever. I think it's because of the way that my eyes react to light. I was looking into these: http://www.gunnars.com/ These were recommended to me for playing video games (not that I play much anymore). My point is that I really only know of maybe buying yellow tinted glasses to help me so I'm wondering if anybody else wears something like these or has any other ideas for what I could do. Thanks! EDIT: I also forgot to say that I use a program called f.lux where at a certain time of the day it'll cause the coloring of my monitor to reduce the brightness to a yellow tint so that I'm not sitting in a darker room with the monitor blasting bright colors at my eyes. It's a good program if anyone is interested. http://www.stereopsis.com/flux/
I find with the multiple monitor setup, that looking at different screens helps, which keeps the eyes working and focusing. Also having the tv on to glance at across the room gives my eyes a break.
Morning everyone - late start here after getting a hundred shots at the doctor's. sim short .24 stop 10 ticks target new LOD FD, I'd improve your lighting; also, if you have the room/space, try having your back against the wall (and open space behind your screen) :58 stopped out -10 ticks
I only have 1 monitor, 28" widescreen, Hanns-G. I was thinking about rearranging so that my computer was in front of the window so that I'd be looking directly outside behind my computer, but I don't know if that would work because I don't have a lot of room to move things around without it taking up more space than the way I have my room setup now.
sim long .37 stop .34 Why this move down? (I don't mean these last 30-40 ticks) :19 stop trailed to .56 :19 stopped out .55 (+18; +8 rolling)
