  3. I went long CL, and it made it to around .14 - .15 but not to my target. It then went back down and I was negative .5 - .6. So I changed my target to get around .10. ES was going up, I tried to also go long ES, but did not get in quick enough and did not want to chase.

CL hit my target, I also had an order in for 6A, and then canceled that.

    Thoughts on trade:

    1) I think I could have targeted a little lower to recent resistance instead of trying a standard target, although I did see that CL would not have to make a new high for the day to hit my target.

    2) I am glad I held on to the trade instead of stopping myself out at BE since I do feel one needs to give a trade room to run.

    3) I could have averaged in a little lower when trade went against me, but I have been trying to avoid averaging in especially on CL which can be a beast when it wants to run your stops.

    All trades real money.

  4. CL just did what its famous for, I was not in the trade, but it broke recent support, shot down, and then came all the way back up. All stops below recent support were probably broken. My long trade probably broke some shorts stop by .1, before going down which is also funny.

Any shorts on that break, also were probably killed, unless they were fast or had a small target.

I wish I was watching charts instead of typing here.

Yesterday's inflection point was the Treasury auction, it seems we're getting some more action today as well.

I can't figure you out. You usually post time stamp trades which are 1 lot for 5 ticks, then you intersperse with these huge profitable posts. What convinces you to go from 5 tick targets to suddenly making hundred or more ticks?
