Just scalping today mainly. That was quite a dump. Long at 81.38. Almost bought the first part of the pullback at 82. Glad I didn't. But missed the dump. BTW, as you can tell by my posts # we're #1. LOL And actually my birthday is January 11th. True. Now if I just make $1,111 all will be well in the world.
You're welcome, FD. Your stupid trades can't possibly be stupider than the two I opened my morning with yesterday and they weren't sim I'm switching over on Monday. Good luck, FD, hope to talk to you soon.
this worked out ,it went above and below the nips to the ledges ,,for anyone learning to use mp .... big volume spike on that 11 am low
The best setups can fail and just take the loss in stride. The thing to focus on is to trade ALL your valid setups, so that the few that fail are outnumbered by the many that work. FD, you have a decent trading edge and ought to trade every setup, win or lose. End of the week, you'll be profitable. When we start picking and choosing, we'll tend to pick the "easier" trades, when often the ones that look sloppier at the right edge turn out to be quite good. The market rewards what is difficult. It's not easy selling a few ticks from the LOD, but when price establishes support there for the second time, can't even clear the previous bar's high and comes back down just a few ticks from that low, just hold your nose and sell. There's no better feeling than being part of a strong breakout.
It seems they've reached a behind-the-scenes deal http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE69E0OB20101015
