The jubilant mob celebrating in front of the White House on Saturday was impressive for its size but also for its heterogeneity—as though a wide sampling of Washington, D.C., residents had been dumped on Black Lives Matter Plaza to celebrate Joe Biden’s victory. There were crop-topped Code Pink protesters, dancing Black teenagers, and consultant types in their blue-checked dress shirts. Women in Lululemon leggings carried biden 2020 signs, parents carried babies, and grandmothers carried tiny, quivering dogs through the crowd.

Well we already have the Joe/Hunter Biden dirt being dropped. Things that state controlled media were passing off as Russian disinformation less than 2 months ago, are turning out to be true. Joe has even come out and said they are going to have to wait until after the Georgia elections to Defund the Police.

Democrats call civil war cease-fire during Georgia Senate runoffs

Progressives vowed to take on Joe Biden the minute he defeated President Donald Trump.

But the unresolved Senate races in Georgia are helping to keep the peace between the party’s warring factions for a few more weeks — and then it’s open season.

Ocasio-Cortez takes direct shot at Pelosi and Schumer
    https://www.politico.com/news/2020/12/16/ocasio-cortez-new-leaders-pelosi-schumer-446247

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez argued in a new interview that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer should no longer lead Democrats in Congress, and complained that the party had failed at grooming a “next generation” of younger lawmakers to succeed them.

“I do think that we need new leadership in the Democratic Party,” Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) told The Intercept in an interview published Wednesday. Spokespeople for Pelosi and Schumer did not immediately return an email seeking comment on Ocasio-Cortez’s interview.

Now that the special elections are over, the war is going to get pretty heated in the Democrat party. They go two more weeks that the boogieman is around, then some major dust ups are going to go down.

Biden is coming in an extremely weak leader. The democrats rejected him the primaries, he needed all kinds of help in the general, and his immediate family members are under federal investigation.

I generally don't respond to Here4money because he makes TonyStark and Overnight look like members of Mensa, but this one is particularly humorous.

    Dude, get a clue.

Wildchild called another one. Democrats are very bitter people and there is no way they can stay together.

Manchin flexes muscle in 50-50 Senate

Centrist Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) is the most pivotal vote in the evenly divided Senate, and his power could spark prolonged intraparty feuds among Democrats.

AOC tears into Biden admin for reopening child migrant facility: 'This is not okay'

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., had some strong words for President Biden's administration after news surfaced that it was reopening a child migrant detention facility in Texas.

"This is not okay, never has been okay, never will be okay - no matter the administration or party," the progressive icon tweeted on Tuesday.

She added: "It’s only 2 mos into this admin & our fraught, unjust immigration system will not transform in that time. That’s why bold reimagination is so impt. DHS shouldn’t exist, agencies should be reorganized, ICE gotta go, ban for-profit detention, create climate refugee status & more."

Biden set to play peacemaker for warring Democratic factions

The two fractious wings of Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s caucus are tumbling toward intraparty war. President Joe Biden is hoping to head off disaster.
