So you're against the "clips" (please use the word magazine so you don't sound like someone who just got into the gun debate) having extra capacity? As for concealment, pistol is far easier to conceal. Barrel length?

As for reducing the probability that a single lunatic with a gun can kill a lot of people, why not go after the lunatics instead of the inanimate objects?

I can see and touch a gun. And I can tell it's a gun. I can see and touch a lunatic. But I can't tell it's a lunatic.

Automatic weapons are not banned. If you want to pay for the stamp and can pass the background check you can still purchase them legally.

This is a great speech. He does a great job of summarizing a lot of the right's position regarding gun control.

Mag capacity, round size, barrel length, ease of modifying to full auto, ease of reload. It's a platform designed to make the most lethal soldier (minus full auto). Let's not dismiss it as being anything but a handicapped military grade ar15.

This is just silly. The same could be said about almost any semi-automatic weapon. Which leftists want to ban entirely. It's not about "the children," it's about the agenda.

But that can't happen all at once so you'll try an incremental approach. First the evil "assault weapons." Then the remaining semi-automatic weapons. If successful, revolvers will have to go too because leftists will claim something ridiculous like, "speedloaders can make them just like machine guns."

Don't laugh -- the foolishness on display now is a harbinger of just that kind of abject stupidity and demagoguery. This is only a small sample:

Do you know what the rifle below the AR-15 is? Of course not. If you did, you wouldn't have made this post (unless you're being disingenuous).

Obviously the weapon at the top should be banned. It looks scary. :)

It's a little more than paying for a stamp and passing a background check with the ATF. Regardless, it is much, much more difficult to get an automatic rifle (not to mention impractical).

Precisely my point. A skilled shooter in an opportune environment can cause a lot of damage with any weapon at all.
