There's nothing new here. Nassau county had to dumb down its police exam years ago because not enough blacks were passing. This is going on all over the country.

  2. This makes no sense at all. Why not keep the standards as they were, and just tell the black applicants to study harder if they want to pass?

    The answer is...

" Stupid people in costumes with guns. "

Maybe they should have put more questions about street drugs, gangs and breaking & entering on the test. :(

  7. Yep, that's some kinda' stupid. Not quite as stupid as giving corporate criminals trillions of taxpayer dollars to blow at the Wall Street casino, AGAIN, but stupid none the less.

  8. If Repression lowers the collective intelligence levels of ethnic groups like you say, you'd expect the Jewish people to be a bunch of low-IQ dumbasses by now. So I think your theory is flawed.

  9. I'm going to shock everyone and say I don't have a problem with this. Actually I do have a problem with the Justice Department dictating local hiring practices, but I do see a real benefit to having at least a representative number of blacks on a police force. Who do you think is committing most of the crime? Who do you think understands what is going on in the 'hood better? Who is beter able to interact with these people?

I also find the objections of unions to be hypocritical at best. I know it's not the same union, but unionized tradespeople have long looked at union-protected jobs as some sort of family entitlement, kind of like a safe congressional seat. Anyway, how smart do you have to be to be a cop?

What frightens me is they do it for medical schools as well.

I wonder how much influence insuance liability has in hiring standards. Unqualified, physically and mentally candidates increases the risks of lawsuits and disability claims. Perhaps the insurance lobby plays a role in standards, this becomes a conflict between justice dept and legal liability.

I don't completely agree with this arguement via black on black racism.

The law is colorblind yet you are asking for sociological policing because black officers understand the black community. Everyone has sensitivity training. White people can be taught respect
