Citadel closing all overseas offices

It seems Citadel is closing all overseas offices as we speak. Staff in Hong Kong has been asked to leave in 1 hour.

 

If they hurry, they can have a Christmas Party with a box of Triscuits and a container of Cheez-Whiz!

 

Maybe they will go start their own hedge fund huh?

Another one bites the dust. Citadel is finished. No one will ever deposit money with them ever again.

 

No link, I just heard about it from the guy who sits next to me in the office who has a friend in Citadel HK.

In London, I only know of a software guy who works at Citadel - but he is a complete wanker and a pathological liar - so I don't keep in touch with him to know.
