flat out great call. You gave a totally low risk call, against the grain, and called it to a tee. Great Call.
Yes, it was a good call, ummmm put call If at the current price at 9:30 AM, the puts should anywhere from 25-35 cents, depending on how much IV collapses. If CSCO rallies in the pre-market (say 20.50 or higher) and IV collapses to pre EA levels, you won't see anywhere near that gain at 9:30 AM and possibly none. Food for thought: For long puts, the gain will be determined by where CSCO trades when options open at 9:30 AM not the low print of the pre-market. If it sells off more during the pre-market (say 19.50), you can lock in the ITM amount by going long the shares. You'll give up the remaining time value but you won't be hurt by a reversal back above 20.
crap I missed this casino post. the last one made me good money with the IWM one you posted. you need to post these in the same area since I missed a few of them.
CSCO has been destroying shareholder value for the past TEN YEARS, that's FOURTY QUARTERS of FAILING to deliver to shareholders, while management continues to rake in millions. It's a great trading stock though, pick up in the teens and sell in the 20's, I've been doing this trade several times over the years. Good call on the puts, that was a true winner.
