That's the risk of an investment, which one hopes will grow with time. I just happen to be within a few dollars of my goal, but if price drops I will hold a bit longer. I'm only selling because the euro dropped significantly against the dollar and gives me the incentive to pay off a property paid in euro.

Well, CTAS hit 427 at close today. I'm switching from cautiously optimistic to bull on reaching 435+ before Dec. 12, all else equal.

After a push to 433 last week, CTAS followed the rest of the market down the hole on Fed interest rate hike. However, it reversed quickly at 405 to close Monday at 420.
Still expecting 435+ around Nov 14 (my previous post erroneously stated Dec). As a reminder, that's when they will distribute their cash dividend of $1.15, the highest in their history, started last quarter, which propelled the share to 441.

If it does break out above its neckline (or the ATH), your next price target is at 550-ish.

  7. Vic we don't talk any more. It's funny how this thread reads; it's a version of what I do when I call out a stock for not moving and then it moves. So here you have elicited a lot of negative chatter, all the while the stock appears to go up. Good Job.:D

This came out today- Use a big down day to get back in before earn maybe.... Pricing Power is everything.~stoney

Cintas price target raised to $525 from $450 at RBC Capital 08:22 CTAS RBC Capital analyst Ashish Sabadra raised the firm's price target on Cintas to $525 from $450 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. Sabadra expects another solid beat and raise from Cintas, telling investors in a research note that pricing power, cross-selling, increased outsourcing, diversified offerings, and resilient end markets should drive growth even in a potential economic downturn.

Yeah, I thought I had done pretty well too
I've been a fan of CTAS for the last couple of years and it's been very good to me. I needed to hold to 435 but managed 437, so all good. Of course, had I (woulda coulda shoulda)...
I do expect a consolidation and support test around 420 as we embrace the 2023 gloom and doom, but I see CTAS hit 520+ within 24 months.

    I think

CTAS continues to amaze me for its consistent long, closing at 602 today. Just solid.
