    bullshit.

putin is afraid of freedom, democracy and rule of law.

this - and the fact that he and his mafia want to keep stealing and looting - are the reason for this war.

in the last 30 years - many countries have joined eu and nato.

    why? we know, why.

and many more would like to follow.

and how many countries wanted to join "russia"?

    HOW MANY?

It is not for a lack of trying. They have been trying to kill Vladimir Putin for sometime now. Even if they succeed, do they think the Russians are going to wimp out and fear the US? Another Russian leader like Medvedev will take his place. Russia has upgraded all its heavy weaponry, fighter jets, attack helicopters, tanks, missiles, rockets, etc. and ready for full scale war with NATO if they enter Ukraine. Also, their factories working 24/7 non-stop manufacturing missiles, rockets, artillery shells. Did anyone see Putin's jet escorted by 6 SU-35 fighter jets loaded with missiles and rockets, armed to the teeth and the state reception by Dubai? Russians love their country. Compare it to the US were there are numerous traitors selling the US out to other countries for a couple of millions. Hell, these idiots are more focused prosecuting Trump on bogus charges just so, he cannot run for President of the United States.

    "russia" offers this:

    dictatorship

    violence

    poverty

    scarcity

    etc.

    eu + nato offer this:

    freedom

    security

    democracy

    rule of law

    prosperity

    and much more

the war against ukraine is the best argument that nato expansion was / is good and right.

expansion of eu and nato will continue.

Being that Finlands border with Russia is 800 miles and less than 150 miles from St Petersberg and around 200 miles from Russias largest nuclear submarine base keeping Finland and Sweden out of NATO should have been more important than keeping Ukraine out.

Murmansk Navel Base is home to 33+ Russian submarines and 32 + Russian warships.Due to Finland joining NATO NATO is only around 200 miles from that Navel Base:):):):)

Lets see what Putin has accomplished so far.

Hundreds of thousands of dead and wounded troops.

A military so depleted it has to get unsafe weapons from N Korea and reuse dead troops uniforms.

The loss of numerous ships and planes

    A wreaked economy

Over a million citizens left to avoid being drafted

Having to sell Russian oil at 30-50 % discounts due to US Sanctions

    Sweden and Finland joining NATO

800 miles of NATO on Russias border.

NATO 150 miles from St Petersberg (Putins hometown :D)

NATO 200 miles from Russia largest submarine base, home to over 33 subs and 32 warships

    Great job Putey!!!

I majored in business in college and one of the fundamental things I learned, that always stuck with me, is if youre not growing then you’re shrinking, nothing stays the same.

The same is true for issues like democracy, free trade and political alliances. Every day, month, year, decade things change on a global scale. There is no staying the same, either NATO is growing or it is receding. The same is true for Russia, China and their sphere of influence.

It is to our benefit if NATO expands and the Russian influence recedes. Russia is trying to change their receding power with military force. We cannot allow that.
