No insightful study can be gained by watching John Adams. However it will give you a perspective as to how far government can go before a revolution is deserving. If you read a biography on Thomas Jefferson or John Adams which I am certain you have not you will realize that the current government corruption, tyranny and control is growing ever closer to the days of 1776. Also the founding fathers would heavily be against the form of government today and the massive spending done by Obama. Adams was very against an international foreign policy while Jefferson was very much against the federal government doing anything besides defending the nation and providing freedom and individual liberty. Do you really think the founding fathers would agree with the massive control and size of the government today?
"No insightful study can be gained by watching John Adams." That's why you recommended renting it? "Go rent John Adams and gain some perspective." LMAO... I think the founding fathers would have been opposed to the idea that the Constitution as written was equipped to deal with modern 21st century life in America...
I can attend a class on nuclear science and gain a perspective. I however cannot gain a deep and profound insight in the field of nuclear science by just attending one class though. Since when was perspective and a deep insight the same thing? Since you decided to twist words around?
"Sense when was perspective and a deep insight the same thing? Sense you decided to twist words around?" I am the one twisting words? ROTFLMAO... Common sense is sorely lacking in today's "I got all my education by watching TV" generation...

Now you have the sense to go to the dictionary to weasel away from your "rent Adams" perspective? LOL!
Please specify when and where the "government" murdered its citizens "without remorse". And by government, I am not referring to the state, in terms of capital punishment, nor am I referring to individual dumbass government workers who bungle their jobs. If a rant "feels good", you may need to get out more often!
Well, for starters, how about these: 1) Kent State 2) Waco 3) Ruby Ridge And, yes, I probably do need to get out more often.........but I have several million bureaucrats to feed
