Finally found some time to post here. i try not to trade the first half hour after opening, sometimes there are big moves that can catch you off-guard (large orders to fill from bigger timeframe players) Anyway, i made a little yesterday, not as much as i would like to, but isn't that always the case? Didn't have a particular macro view yesterday, but i made a small profitable scalp and then thought the market would go some more, and went short. I came close to exiting becuase it took a while to break. But then i exited some for a profit, so that way it was easier to let the rest ride. I don't know if i will keep scaling out in the future, but some days it's nice to know you haven't watched your screen for hours and not make anything.
Don't have a real macroview for today UK cpi higher than expected I see FOMC tonight Although I rarely trade the US markets anymore, I watch them, because everything is so correlated. I watch bonds and btc too, for this reason.
steep moves often need a bit of a 'breather' if i would have to guess, yesterday could be swing bottom
made 2 points on half and scratched the other half too soon, so it seems anyway a profit is a profit, don't want to get too greedy today. yesterday there were big moves and fomc today, should be a lot of fake-outs and less volatility
too big of a break to be a pause on a swing up imho was mildly bullish before but now mildly bearish (an a day time timeframe)
