Another long signal has been generated at 11:26. Will not take it. First signal after long downtrend and we are heading into lunch.
A little early for lunch...traders usually go to lunch around 11:30. The e-mini trades out of Chicago(CME)...central time.
Entry would be @985.25, looking for 987.25 Again, I did not take this. Too risky. This trade would have been successful as price passed thru 987.25 at 11:55 EST.
Remember I am the head idiot here.....sooooo.....that means when advice is given about trading hours, it is not given in EST time, rather central time. So I can look for a trade until 12:30 EST?? Is this correct. I just figured the electronic nature of this contract worked a little differently. I would really like some help as time goes on to establish trading hours on the S&P emini for this system. When I did the back testing I took signals whenever they were generated between 10:00 and 3:55 EST. Lunchtime did not seem to matter, real life will be a different story I guess. I should probably continue to take the signals whenever they are genrated so we can evaluate them based on their time frame. Whatever.
Keep you eye on the 3M chart. It could generate a long signal. This would be VTDB trade as described.
3M Chart. I call this a BBB trade (Bottom Buster Breakout) I will look for only 2 points here with my SL @2. This setup has the potential to begn a reversal. I have not fully experimented with it on the 3M chart. I will attempt to get a picture in to describe the BBB chart. The move could actually be larger than 2 points. If it responds, I may move my stop to BE and follow it up.
