Christianity- Enemy Number 1

Discussion in 'Religion and Spirituality' started by bugscoe, Jul 27, 2011.

  1. I have seen the word Christianity more times than I can count this past week. The liberal media machine is doing it's best to attack it.

Contrast that to the Ft Hood shooting where they told us it was disrespectful to bring religion into the discussion so as to prevent an anti-muslim backlash.

It all makes sense when you stand back and look at the big picture.

Below is an excellent summation of what is going on with liberals. Their actions prove it. If I'm wrong, feel free to post MSM articles talking about something positive with Christianity. Maybe Katie Couric's idea to have a Cosby style Christianity show!?

"Western nations and Western Civilization have produced more liberty and more prosperity for more people than any other culture in History. Christianity is the foundation of the culture upon which Western civilization was built. A genuinely Christian populace will reject collectivism and support individualism. A genuine Christian populace will live moral lives and thus they will support governmental policy that encourages individual, personal, moral responsibility. A genuine Christian populace will reject collectivism and centralized government. A morally debauched populace will look to the government to support them and shelter them from their bad moral choices. Thus for the collectivist Liberal bent on imposing socialism upon a nation, Christianity is the number one enemy above all other enemies. Christianity must be eliminated."

Please link to a MSM article, not a talking head on an opinion page, please, where Christianity is blamed for Oslo.

I thought Ft. Hood was really because the guy was trying to get out of deployment... ?

  3. I didn't say Christianity was 'blamed' for Oslo. I made reference to the MSM making sure to constantly repeat/attack it in talking about the event in order to link it to the murders. But here ya go:

    'When Christianity becomes lethal'

NYT headline Sunday print "As Horrors Emerge, Norway Charges Christian Extremist"

However it appears the NTY changed the headline for its online version. If you don't believe me, do a search with the entire "As Horrors Emerge..." headline and you'll be directed to the story.

“The three major networks trumpeted the news this weekend that the man behind a mass shooting spree in Norway is also a Christian, highlighting the fact in eight different programs from Saturday through Monday.

The July 25 New York Times used page one to declare, "As Horrors Emerge, Norway Charges Christian Extremist." Yet, these same journalistic outlets were far more reticent to identify the religion of past Islamic killers.

On Saturday's Good morning America, Miguel Marquez trumpeted, "Police have identified the shooter as a 32-year-old Norwegian and Christian fundamentalist." He made sure to note Anders Breivik's "right-wing" and "anti-Muslim" views.

On Saturday's World News, Pierre Thomas informed, "His ideology? Religious conservative." A screen shot of Breivik's Facebook page read "Christian." Martin Fletcher on Saturday's Today freely related that the website illuminated the fact that "he's conservative, he's Christian."

former Department of Homeland Security terrorism analyst Daryl Johnson, who warned: "This attack in Norway should be a wake-up call for our country, for decision makers....we could have a similar type of attack here. And that's my greatest fear, is that we would have a Timothy McVeigh-type carry out a mass shooting event."

What did the MSM label McVeigh as? A quick Google search will easily give you that answer. This link is not MSM but it proves the point: "The Greater Threat: Christian Extremism From Timothy McVeigh to Anders Breivik" http://flaglerlive.com/25667/pt-mcveigh-breivik

Christianity and Christians have been under attack for the last 2000 years. Until Jesus returns it will continue by those who won't be going to the same place.

Sorry, liberals. I don't believe there are multiple paths to God. To an afterlife? Probably. To an afterlife in the presence of God? No.

  5. A carpenter one day decides he doesn't want to work anymore and decides to become a God. One person lives inside a whale. One can stop the sun from moving across the sky. A talking snake. Cities turned to salt. The bible can't even get the day jesus died right; one has it before Passover, noon of Passover and the day after. And really, Buddha was around before jesus who healed the sick and walked on water. It appears jesus was modeled after Buddha.

christianity is a joke of a religion.

  6. Considering you're a flaming libtard, thank you for proving my OP.

Aren't Christian commies (and conservative atheists) allowed?

  8. Just showing how absurd your religion is.

Forgot the dinosaurs in the boat. Earth is only 6000 years old.
