  1. Portman was a major player in the Bush administration.Romneys security team already has over 23 Bush security advisers, with Portman as VP Obama could run against Bush again

  3. I agree. I don't get why people (adults) make personal attacks. I simply do not understand it. I'm not surprised when I see kids do it, but I don't understand why adults behave that way. My wife says personal attacks, over-the-top accusations and name-calling are the norm on TV and people are copying the behavior they see on television. I rarely watch TV. Maybe that's why it seems so strange to me.

Discrimination towards a persons race or physical characteristics comes easy to Democrats particularly when they cannot form a cogent argument or criticism regarding that persons character.

    The hypocrisy is breath-taking.

Chris Christie calls former Navy SEAL an 'idiot'

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, known for telling it like it is, recently got into a heated debate at a town hall meeting with a Rutgers-Camden law student and former Navy SEAL. William Brown, 34, asked the governor to reconsider the merger between Rutgers-Camden and Rowan University, to which Christie replied that it was going to happen. The two went back and forth, apparently unable to hold a civilized conversation. The exchange concluded with Christie calling Brown an "idiot" as Brown was escorted out by police. "I tried to be patient with the guy," Christie went on to tell the audience. "... Damn, man, I'm governor. Could you just shut up for a second?"

Chris Christie calls out reporter: 'Are you stupid?'

“Did I say on topic?” Christie asked the reporter. “Are you stupid? On topic, on topic. Next question. Thank you all very much and I’m sorry for the idiot over there.”

  8. Christie is to-the-point, which is good.....

His problem is that he steps over the line and comes across as having anger management issues.

Perhaps, but isn't that what Obama is still doing anyway when he says: "Mitt Romney wants to go back to the same old tired policies that got us into this mess." (I'm paraphrasing, but it seems I have heard words come out of Obama's mouth to that effect within the last week or so.) Seems as though he is in effect still running against Bush and hoping to tie Romney to Bush regardless of who the VP candidate is. On the other hand I think we will see Romney doing what he can to distance himself from Bush. I would, were I him.

If Romney wins, Christie will be the attorney general. The perfect job for an abrasive, opinionated lawyer.
