He isn't goint to run. He has already stated a very good reason, he isn't ready. Being US attorney for a couple of years and then 2-years as New Jersey governor doesn't prepare a person to lead 350 million people. Neither does running Godfather's Pizza.

The republicans seem prepared to let the media select their candidate. That probably means Barrack Obama will be reelected.

The republicans main problem is that they so clearly represent the interests of the rich. Their economic policy proposals, chaotically all over the place, whether simply ineffective, or mis-timed, or stunningly bizarre, all have one thing in common and this is the protection of the piles of chips a few players have.

I'm not saying the democrats do not protect their chips as well, but they do things that at least appear to care about the working man's welfare, enough so as to generate calls of "socialism".

Oh come on. Wall Street owns the democratic party. Tell me Ricter. How is that war on poverty going since the New Deal? How is that "Great Society" doing? Please. The dems are owned by hedge funds, banks, big business and unions. Yeah looking out for the people my ass.

Romney/Cain landslide win in 2012. Save this post.

And sadly both are infinitely more qualified than our current POTUS, even after his 2 1/2 years of OTJ training.

I think Christie should step down as Governor and spend a few years as a local community organizer. That's really all he is missing from his resume to become POTUS.

I didn't say they (democrats) weren't owned, I indicated that they probably were. But at least they do stuff that gets them called "socialist", or get gets them accused of class warfare, so they must be doing something that Capital doesn't like, in spite of themselves.

As for the war on poverty, *shrug*. I'm not sure "victory conditions" will ever be achieved, but the fight must nevertheless be fought. You'd fight a hopeless war if you believed in the principle of it, wouldn't you? But I am quite sure that if there was no push-back from the government that we'd see a lot more dissent today, would have seen it already, actually, than we are.

Finally, these "wars" take decades, sometimes more, to wage to any kind of resolution. The masses suffered a very long time, generations in fact, before the French Revolution proper began.

No, they are called socialist because of their rhetoric. The left is all talk and no follow through. They have done nothing for the poor, blacks, women, gays, minorities. They only convinced those groups that they have.

No Ricter, you don't keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. That's the definition of insanity. I'm a trader. When something stops working, I stop doing it.

I guess by your definition we should stay in Iraq and Afghanistan for another 100 years. Hey, don't give up right?

Obama was outrageously unprepared to be president and it is criminal that he was elected.

His petulant speech yesterday regarding the Jobs Bill, "..and as I've said repeatedly on the road, I want it back. I'm ready to sign it". Incredible.

That Jobs Bill is dead. It can't even pass the democrat held Senate. The President is deliberately dividing the country and inciting the leftists to riot in the streets. Obama is not a leader, he is a petulant child.
