I cannot believe you bought into that bullshit. Only a fool would do what you are asking Buffett to do. And Buffett is no fool. He clearly plays by the rules and will continue to play by the rules. He's just saying the rules are wrong. But until they're changed, he'll play by them because he'd be a fool to do otherwise. If you think he doesn't have integrity, then you don't know the meaning of the word.

I could ask you the same thing. Why didn't you, Grover Norquist and the other Ayn-Rand-worshipping greedheads pay lower taxes back when the tax rates were higher? Surely you could have set an example by being the first in line to show us the way. But you chickenshits chickened out. :D :p

So shut YOUR trap about taxes.

  4. The irritating thing about Buffett is he wants to change the system that he exploited to get super rich. It reeks of pulling the ladder up after him.

There are rational arguments to be made on tax policy, but saying you pay less than your secretary is not one of them. If he objects to the carried interest dodge that he apparently uses to maximum effect, then he should say so, instead of implying that there is some huge conspiracy against wage earners.

It's disappointing that someone like Buffett can't make a better argument than the crude demagoguery Obama spews. The fact is that higher earners pay a vastly disproportionate share of federal taxes. No doubt there are loopholes, like carried interest, that should be addressed, but the slur frequently voiced by Obama that the "rich" do no tpay their "fair" share is absurd. Nearly half, mostly obama voters, pay nothing at all. Are they paying their "fair" share, particularly when they are the ones getting benefits?

There IS some huge conspiracy against wage earners. It's called plutocracy, and it's alive and well in the USA today.

This notion that the rich doesn't get "welfare" is horseshit. Look up the worst form of socialism -- lemon socialism. It's self-explanatory except to the willfully ignorant.

Might be one of the stupidest things i have ever read on elite trader, and thats saying alot....

The reason we didnt pay lower taxes when the tax rates were higher because we would have ended up in jail for tax evasion if we got caught....

Last time i checked it was not illegal for people who want higher taxes to simply cut the government a cheque.
