  1. viper, did you see the manipulation on the pound too?

Well my stop is pretty wide enough so I wasn't concerned, but wow. There was some manipulation. Well netdania seems to be down. It's stuck at 8669. But prices on my platform matches my datafeed. Seems like back to normal.

No I didn't, but just when I was abled to log on EUR/USD was showing 30 pips below my chart feed, it then slowly corrected.

I didn't know which was showing the wrong price so I didn't want to risk buying.

  3. Probably a good idea. Do you use market or limit orders? I've always used market orders, but my new method uses limit orders instead. Price was too close for limit so I had to use market order for my mini account. I had to wait for authorization or whatever. You get this too? But I got the price I clicked on.

Well I ended up calling to buy cable, and I got the right price on my screen. About 40 min ago pound was just bouncing up and down. It was hilarious. I wasn't sure what they were trying to do, haha.

It's a bit past my bedtime now. peace

edit: my regular account was down, so I had to phone in for that trade.

Haha that is werid, I only use market orders have had bad filling before with FXCM, the price has to settle for about 30 secs before the limit orders go thru. And I only buy and sell when prices are at key support/resistance points so that doesn't work for me. Sweet dreams :p

Only news I followed was the Biege book that was bullish for the USD.

I think it was server problems on FXCM's part, said something about Orcale error.

Hhhmm maybe I should start calling in my orders then, I don't know whats hotter a girl that knows about trading or a girl that knows about cars lol.

  7. oh ok, thanks. I think it was probably their server going down too. Pound was just acting weird. It didnt really seem like they were stop hunting because it was going up and down with 10 pip fluctuations. It seemed like they weren't sure which way to stop hunt. That was my impression, and that's why I started laughing. This didn't happen to the euro though. Euro seemed fine. Strange though.

Yea, a girl that knows about cars would definitely get my attention, but a girl with no gag reflex would definitely be gettin a hold of my wallet :p I'm pretty picky. I like a girl with both looks and brain. I have neither so figures why I'm single

  8. Where would she bounce off of? I plan to start playing from the long side between 1.2900-1.2920. I think the prev peaks made in feb04 = 1.2930 and just before that 1.2901 in jan04 could give some support enough for a trading bounce. Anyone here stepping up to bid euro?
