Just heard on Bloomberg TV that Poole was misquoted and that his overall comments suggested maintaining the current pace of interest rate increases is likely to continue for some time.
I'm looking at selling EUR vs CAD for a short-term trade -- anyone here trading it? Edit 1: forget it. It just broke above the downtrend line I was looking at in the hourly chart where I would put my stop. I'll wait.
Interesting looking chart...I don't think that I've ever looked at EUR/CAD. I found a corner of one of my screens that can be its home so I can watch it in the future. Cheers, TRADERguy
yeah I stumbled upon it looking for a way to short euro against another currency stronger than the USD but it could be that I'm late for this party -- it has been trading down almost every day since 12/23/04 from a high of about 1.67 to today's low of 1.5833 -- that's a retracement of 66% of the rally from 1.5383 (11/2004) to the 12/2004 top. I am staying away from this one for now -- pl keep me updated if you form an opinion either way. thx.
