  5. Well, I won't need to hold it any longer - as it was hit just a little while ago.
A nice +73 ticks profit on that one - if I count - pausing, re-entering - stop-out and all. A little bonus was the +8 ticks scalping too. Ah, seems like it's dawning a bright morning too.
    :D

I had stops at close to 1.2900 because I just set that for nulling profits on the last part of the trade. Then I went to sleep with the trade still in for that original analysis of target. I just woke up now and gave it a look.

A nice +50% from yesterday's balance on the demo spot account too (yes, I know -- too much leverage there ... :) ).

  6. Your profit is my drawdown :) I ended up tweaking my stop thus causing an almost 70 pip drawdown bottom-to top. From entry it's about 35 ticks. I decided to be stubborn and this thing trended up picture perfect...

  7. Boy it's nice when these work out. Now if I can only add to it instead of giving it back like yesterday. :)

  8. Sorry to shed noobness upon the thread...

What's the consensus for the capital flow number, and what do you fellas think will move the dollar either way? Over 60? Under 50? etc.

  9. I think it was quite helpful to see how the EURUSD deatched itself from the crossing pressure from the USDJPY at times - when asian session was drawing to a close and european session was nearing.

The bullsh*t factor was high at times during the asian session - but I guess that's fair before the TIC data. I wonder when this foreign investor data will show some significant drop and show that world governments and investors start taking heed to what's going on. :)

It deserves going well under 50 with the GWB election and all. Religious fanaticism by hicks and nationalistic upswing because of world attention to national election doesn't actually need to be rewarded.

  10. What's all this emphasis on the TIC data? Did it really move the markets last time it was released? Honestly, it is not something that I have ever really focused on and I personally don't expect it to be a huge market mover either way. That's not to say that the market won't move today because clearly it is possibly setting up for a big day across the inevitable 1.3000. I just don't think that it will move specifically as a result of the TIC data. I was away for a few days, glad to return to a nice market :) I did take a loss yesterday however.
