I missed this part earlier. No, I'm trading spot now. Looks like I got out a little early; current price 1.2165. I'm not sure why, probably because of the time, but I need to see more to get back in long.
Well I don't know whether to feel like a moron for not shorting or to be pleased that I exited near the top (current price 1.2139) but I guess the bottom line is that I banked some cash which is always a good thing Still flat; waiting to see what the rest of the NY open brings & later existing home sales brings.
Well that wasn't quick or pretty but I got 40. btw- Chinook, if you don't want me cluttering up your thread with trades, let me know. Cheers
TRADERGuy, Not at all. Actually this is nice. We can exchange ideas etc...Where are you trading from? I'm in Portland, OR. I think we'll see some churning here...Maybe even a test of 1.21. Chinook
If you do...you'll see a pretty high probability trade in the euro, to risk 1.2170 for a move to at least the overnight lows...I'm short from 47 looking for 20 and lower...although I try not to do these quick scalps on hourlies, in quiet days like today, a few of them could make some coing...fyi
krupkinm, No I don't trade it . What is that? I just shorted now at 1.2128. It doesn't look very strong now. Chinook
what it is basically is in a strongly trending mkt...(ADX>30), you look for a test/breach of the 20 period exponential avg...in a downtrend(like in euro) we went up to the 20 period avg...you then sell a break of the low of the bar that tested the avg for a test of the lows.
