Chinook's EUR/USD (E/$)Mumblings

Ivanovich, I'm afraid that you do not understand the history involved nor the Genesis of this thread. I believe that most people on this thread know each other. If not personally, through many conversations in cyberland. Of course there may be some lurkers who do not post, but I believe that the major participants Chinook, Gringinho, Setharb, sulong, V-Viper, traderguy, Electricsavant, etc. have read the many explanations on how I trade and they understand why I do what I do. I am quite sure that you didn't take the time to go back to the beginning of this thread where I have espoused many ideas, etc. In fact, I have employees in my company who ask me why I am doing this or that and I direct them to this thread as most of my thoughts have been expressed here at one time or another. The reason that I post here is because I often watch the markets overnight and one needs an outlet of expression at 4 am EST after a 30 hour marathon.

I am extremely respectful, humble, polite and mindful of others opinions and feelings the VAST majority of the time. There are people on this thread (Electricsavant to name one) that have put money in their pockets as a result of my comments. There are at least 5 participants on this board that run more than $1 Million of my Fund's money. As a sizeable trader, I am occassionally privy to market moving information on flow, etc. I do not trade via an Oanda platform, rather, I trade in the actual interbank market over the phone speaking with all the major dealers and investment banks FX desks. I have generously shared much of this information when I can and/or when I feel it is relevant.

Fxsniper used to be registered under a different moniker, "Coinz". The guy is rude, arrogant, nasty, and a horrible, horrible trader. He is also full of shit a vast majority of the time. Typically, I respect everyone's opinion as I feel that I might learn something (even a tidbit) from them. Fxsniper is the exact anti-thesis of what to do and how to act. As such, I do not respect anything he says and I cannot find it in my heart to treat him with respect. In fact, there was a poll created as to the most hated member of ET (listing about 10 individuals) and Coinz won hands down. He has been banned by ET numerous times only to reappear under a different handle. So Ivanovich, if you really want to debate Fxsniper about the direction of the EUR or how and why to trade, go ahead and make yourself look silly. It's like debating world politics with a Kindegarten student. If you take his opinions seriously, it's a shame on you. I think you came in here, read 1-2 posts and made some conclusions about who's comments are worthwhile and who's aren't. You are a guest on this thread, act as such until you have a history. While this is Chinook's thread, personally, I feel that I have earned a certain level of seniority on it through my many posts and helpful insights that I can divert to a quick few posts on cars and music if I so desire. I would hope that Chinook would agree. My tone is respectful and considerate 99.9% of the time (with the exception of responses to Fxsniper).

And, Fxsniper you are not an ass and Ivanovich is not an asshole because I run a hedge fund. You guys are such simply because you are. Ivanovich may have been too hasty in his comments and opinions, however, you are just a stupid prick.

 

This is the type of pearls of wisdom espoused by Fxsniper that make him so humorous (in a laughing at him sort of a way) to read. If you don't see anything wrong here, you've got problems:

Wasn't trying to judge anyone. Was trying to learn, and when I came into the thread all I saw was a dick measuring contest (you must admit this WAS going on).

If he's so insignificant to you, then why don't ya just ignore him?

Anyway, I - for one - would like to hear everyone's thoughts on the market. Knowledge is best gained when the forum is open.

Coinz/FxSniper please do not post here - start your own thread and post there to you hearts content. Things have been civilized here for a while and I'm afraid you do tend to bring out the worst in most.

Chinooks mumblings sets the tone for this thread - that is respectful tolerance of others opinions. This type of environment facilitates the exchange of ideas without repercussion. Here is someone who I have ALOT of respect for, because of his humbleness and complete honesty. Everyone can learn something from him. Please respect HIS thread and keep it to HIS tune.

Coinz - everybody is right post on your own thread. I know you may be pissed off that Chinook has over 20,000 views but it is HIS thread dont do your usual thing and try to hijack it.

Your riffs belong on your own thread - believe me you will get views. Even though we've pissed each other off in the past you know I actually trade much more like you than anyone else, so I am asking with nicely to leave Chin alone. If this thread degenerates into the usual bullshit it will just be pathetically predicatble and hardly productive.

 

But banned members should not be free to post at all.
