There's talk about this Schumer and Graham senators news confrence in 45mins that sanctions might be announced against China after a loss of patience with the currency moves. If this is announced what are your opinions for moves in the treasuries, stocks and currency?

It now appears they will decide on a vote after a trip to China this month, so looks pretty unlikely anything will be said today but the question still stands on what will happen if it goes ahead?

  2. They usually put on that kind of pressure when they want China to buy US planes or anything that will result in big contracts for American corporations. Everybody plays that game. Not just the US.

Last time this happened was in late Nov. last year when China ordered 70 planes from Boeing while the Bush administration was praising China for being on the right track. Then, a few days after that, the Chinese ordered 150 planes from Airbus.

The last 50+ years of communist China has been growing and moving forward with the heavy "sanction" every single step.

Come on see what 1.3 billions chinese can do. Who care!
