All of the WTO member countries should stop trading with China or levy 84% tariff on China. That will be the same as kicking China out of the WTO. China has never complied with the terms and agreements of WTO since day one and because of its violation of the trade agreements with its dumping, currency manipulations and high tariffs on all of the WTO member countries, it's turned international trade that's supposed to result in comparative advantage to absolute advantage for China and as a result has forced all the other trading partners to levy tariffs on the USA in order to recover the tariffs that they have received from China. So instead of negotiating with USA, what the other countries should do is stay strong with Trump and all levy 85% tariffs on China to recover the tariffs that they have received all those years from China. China is the violator of the WTO agreements and China is the one that should be punished. WHY are all the other countries still covering for China by negotiating with the USA?

What Trump is doing might look grotesque but it's actually for justice, to hold China to what it's agreed to when it joined WTO 30+ years ago, to make trade fair for everybody. Like I said before, if all the other countries can grow a pair, they should stand with Trump and declare tariffs on China to make China give back all of the ill-gotten gains that it's earned through its violations of WTO agreements.

I am just surprised with China's announcement of 84% reciprocal tariffs on the USA, the market is not tanking much. All the other times, with news like this, the market would've dropped 5% at least by now. Somebody is propping the market up. @S2007S is going to lose big time.

China doesn't import much from the US.

If China zero out selling the rare earth to the US, then the market will tank massively.
Because the retaliation from President Trump is going to be out of the world.

Both Trump and Xi will retaliate step by step until 2029.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Wednesday that he thinks the Trump administration can reach tariff deals with US allies as he prepares to lead negotiations with over 70 countries in the coming weeks.
China is not US ally but her geopolitical rival. The reason China is refusing to cooperate.
