I waste very little, I don't buy anything that'll perish as I'll forget its in the fridge and waste it. I pretty live on cereal and protein meal replacement shakes currently, 3rd mini warning heart attack 2 weeks back, too much fat around my heart so operation lose 20kg, fit but fat is a bad way to be as riding mtb puts too much strain with the fat there. Hate wasting money, he says blowing 1k today last 45mins into the close doh!
Wow, sorry to hear that. Drop the cereal and the shakes fast, and eat PLENTY of fruits and vegetables instead, the dark green leafy ones especially (broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, etc..).
Yummy things (I am talking about ANY processed "food" or drink) usually have zero nutritional value. Not only that but they create TONS of health problems in the long run, including but not limited to cardio vascular diseases, diabetes, cancers and even mental problems. The link between what we eat and our health is truly astonishing!
I really cant do vegs, green smoothies I'm having to endure for my greens, cholesterol is fine, BP back to healthy from way high, 3rd time wasn't a charm. Lol Heart Rate is 20points lower Max and walking or sitting around, makes my reading look super fit.
Cereals are okay, not stupid high sugar ones, porridge so oats which is good heart food, high fibre. Shakes are so I can hit gym still do weights and light CV. Had a life of pizza and kebabs meat mostly same tight, catches up on you eventually lol
@Turveyd, I feel for you. I love junk food, especially when trading, much easier to bite into than eating an orange or a plate of kale. Kidding aside, listen to @Tradex you only live once, you want it to be long and healthy. Good luck and stay healthy.
Nah, cereals are not that "healthy", plus they are made with genetically modified corn or wheat. For breakfast eat an avocado (a super super food) and plain yogurt for instance. And look at the Asian, they are healthy because they eat tons of rice, plenty of vegetables like broccoli and lot of seafood.
