Only choice for the Chinese to give aid otherwise their economy would not survive further contraction in the west ... The catch is that they wont get it back. Stolen money anyway....

  2. They survived before but at a great cost after the great depression which led to rise of Mao communists. My prediction is China will signal support for Euro and in the last hours, bail. Both West and East economies will be hit hard, but on relative terms, the West would enter the stone ages. Obama will serve 8 straight terms and socialist indoctrination will have completely hit America. This is their strategy as world superpower. In the end, both sides are each other's competitors for resources. War is inevitable scenario.

...or China should stop buying USA green worthless paper.
in other words stop exporting to USA and Europe.
instead of producing cheap stuff, chinese should build high quality real estate and infrastructure... learn from Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

I sort of can't forgive the USA leaders that borrowed when US was the strongest economy on the planet.. Why the richest economy on the planet has to borrow? Conservatives never wanted to borrow, they passed a law in the '80's forcing US government to live within it's means but Democrats got it shot down by the Supreme Court.. Then this current leadership, who are basically insane on both sides of the aisle pretty much, borrowed more, and did bailouts which are counterproductive in several ways... Meanwhile the Chinese CB is the smartest CB on the planet. They never floated their currency!! How they get by with that is a little beyond me, refer to the mention of insane leaders above I suppose...

  7. +1 Agree!!! Actually what American doing is printing money and cover original hole. In short term, it looks great, but they are generating asset bubble across Global, for example, Asia, south america. Look at Asian's property market after 2008, I can see if Europe down , the next one is Asia. It is like never ending cycle....I don't think China would help European this time, since Chinese government got a lot of their internal problems too . If you know china, you know their countryside and city like 100 yrs apart. There's a lot of rich/poor gap there...

The west ( USA) will never enter the “ stone ages” due to abundant domestic resources combined with inherent entrepreneurial traits. If war is inevitable scenario then China better start piling up resources necessary for surviving an international conflict on the long run like weapons, food and women since it has none of those in sufficient quantities

...by the way Mao is a cartoon character in China but he certainly looks like a communist...:
