  1. Is China's "Boom" mostly a result of massive Western capital injection?

Not just western. Know a guy I went to school with, native Hong Kongese, lives there now and holding over 700 units in Shanghai. Looking to unload no earlier than 2010.

  3. Mainly accomodative policies. My aunt who has a 800 yuan per month job got a loan for a house worth 220,000 yuan then. And the house is worth more now.(after a fall last year i think)

  5. Bears probably think its a massive short squeeze across the sector. lol.

Fantasyland is quite an odd place. I miss the Wiemar fans and the interest rates going to the moon people.

That may be so, but what is the amount of debt on Guangdong Development Bank's books that they are taking over? I think Barings Bank was sold for just 1 pound after the Nick Leeson debacle.
