China deal imminent however how will the markets react?

  1. What are Tariffs. - Tariffs are a tax on imported goods into the USA which are pushed onto consumers.

Will a Tariff based deal offer USA a good opportunity. - A tariff deal will push costs on goods to consumers much higher.

Will holding worldwide partners to Tariffs make USA economy stronger and companies more profitable. - Profits may indeed increase because we now have unrestrained higher prices ..each year..increasing higher and higher. In the medium term..this will lead to much much lower consumer spending and eventually recession and stagflation

Today..as traders..we follow the news higher and are long in our potions. However, as traders, we understand that today's market is hourly and taking profits hourly. There is no more long term. We take every penny as we gain. And we are prepared to go very short and very deep at any instant.

only fool traders are long only, even short term - to say we traders are long in our positions is just wrong for the minority of professional level traders who are much more intelligent than retail traders who are stuck (as they always will be) in the long only mindset.

but pro's need paper - bring on the paper - said every pit trader who ever lived.

here you go stupid now you can stop wondering to be long or short. on a day by day basis is all you get, till you grow a brain.

The price moving from bottom left corner to top right?? That's usually a good hint.

Can you differentiate between up and down?

You seem to almost have a mocking tone at the idea of a trader basing their trading decisions on the price chart.

    What do you use?

A talking head on the news says the price will go down so you sell?
Another one says its going up so you flip directions and buy?

Seems like you would be trading opinions while the rest of us are trading the markets

Bottom left to right corner, yep. Hindsight is 20/20.

    Nice comment after the fact....

So what do you use to predict the future with perfect accuracy since you think viewing recent history for clues as to where we might be going is useless?

  7. China Deal???
    While Xi is in Russia???
    Trump wants to De-Escalate Drastically???
Everything is now In a Rush for Trump??

It just not a good look at all. Why would Xi agree to a trade deal when Trump is in such a weak state? Why wouldnt Xi just refuse to even entertain this. All Trump has done is bash China, Sanction China, Tariff China, Ban their EV, Smartphones, AI, Livestream/Social Media Software..now he wants to ban Alibaba.

If I were Xi, I would just keep very very low level negotiators in Switzerland for the next four years. Pass the Tariff cost onto American consumers.

Why did Trump try to do everything in his first 100 days?
Why did Trump make so many worldwide threats so quickly?
Why did Trump claim he can fix all these problems in one day?
