Didnt they stop tracking the rapid expansion of M3 in 2006....and a guy gave a speech at Jackson Hole and termed "shadow banking".
Yeah, how did that grow so fast? That aint QE, fractional banking, funding deficit spending.
I read that unregulated activity was a force behind the 2008 crisis. Lots of that M3 money went Pfft! in 2008 according to the chart . Are they simply replenishing that?
So, even with high worldwide demand for dollars it does not seem possible it could have strengthened considering the components that sum to M3. (Big boy money)
    Lots of questions.

If the US is the cause of the next financial crisis ironically, once again, it will have to
provide a massive amount of USD to restore confidence. Rinse and repeat.

I do remember in the 80's when Japan was buying movie studios, real estate and revolutionizing manufacturing management with SPC. There was US sentiment and fear that Japan would "own" the US in a few short years.

    Hows that working out?
China has a ways to go.

    Cement?
We have bridges to nowhere as well. ha.

I spent the first 8 mins on it. Nice video... but nothing new.
What was I supposed to learn from it? It does not change my assertion that prior to Q.E. the dollar should have massively appreciated to slake world wide demand for it.

  4. 1) china build everything using cement including lowrise houses, us uses mostly wood, only the highrises use cement.

    2) china has 4x the population than us, which means more housing.

    3) majority of the china's highrises are built in the last 2-3 decades, majority of us are already built.

In conclusion it doesnt really mean much china uses more cement than us...

  5. oh OK thanks, how silly of me to insinuate that a debt free China with a national central bank will leave US and western debt based economies in dusts of history

how silly of me, my apologies

  7. I don't suppose you know that China has nukes too, I don't suppose you realize that nuke attack on China is a nuke attack on Russian Federation.

I don't suppose your little CNN and FOX showed you few years ago how Chinese Nuclear Submarine test fired an ICBM off the coast of Florida.

I don't suppose you ever looked into a mirror and asked yourself.

"Am I a special type of an idiot or what"
