You are kidding me??!!! They actually STOP the market, like halt trading completely THREE times during the day?? How do you know so much? You trade the Chinese markets over there? Why do they do that? That is creating so much unnecessary volatility.
break = stop / halt foreigners like me can trade some of the products from Shanghai INE, DCE etc I can trade Shanghai INE copper, crude oil, TSR20 rubber, low sulfur fuel oil... But I seldom trade those things due to the numerous breaks. Many commodity exchanges (excluding US) in this world tend to have many breaks eg Japan exchange Tocom rubber, Malaysia Exchange palm oil ... But I think China Exchanges have the most number of breaks.
They are not going to win. All financial instruments and securities being listed on any USA exchanges are subject to approval by the US Treasury, domestic or foreign and are not guaranteed the same as anybody who wants to enter China is subject to approval by the Chinese government via the granting of an entrance visa. All they are going to get is a quick dismissal. They want to waste their money on lawyers, go right ahead but that's the most likely result. China will become whatever economy only if the world wants to make it to be. This is what China seems to forget. Chinese people have worked hard for their achievement yes but it's also the world that made China today. It's the world that made China rich by buying Chinese products and services and supporting China otherwise no matter how hard Chinese people work, even if your product is 1 yuan and the exchange rate between yuan and US$ is 1 million to 1, if the world doesn't want to buy Chinese products, it doesn't want to and China won't get anything. You can call it discrimination or whatever, that's the hard truth. People have the freedom of choice of whom they want to give money to and not be dictated. Especially that when you want people to buy your stuff, you have to be nice to people, not use phrases like "broken heads and bloodshed" to describe people who are handing you money. This is how things work in any world, not just the geopolitical arena. Yeah sure China will get rich, perhaps through military means and that's why we do not want companies controlled by the Chinese military to get our money by delisting them.
@JSOP The typical western consumer doesn't know about any of that stuff, and doesn't care. They just want their cheep shit, and China will happily provide it. The only way to hit China in a non-military way is in their pocket-book, by having the western world stop buying their cheep shit, made with child labor, which always seems to have lead in it. Is that going to happen? Nope. Never. Because China makes the cheepest shit in the world, and we in the western world are too poor to afford the prices of identical items made on our own shores. Why? Because we have to pay our laborers 10X the wages to make the same products as China does and thus the same products are many times more expensive. The western-world-consumer does not care about the sourcing. All they want is the cheep shit. So you have to either change the mindset of the western consumer about sourcing products...(Like that whole "BUY USA" campaign from some years ago...Remember that failure?), or you have to decrease the wages of the unions that make our shit here, and that will NEVER happen. Bottom line? China imports forever.
Or we develop robotics!! Like I said about million times already, instead of spending on infrastructure, we should spend on technology and robotics development. Of course "Buy America" is not going to work if you are forcing people to buy something that's 10X the price when they are earning minimum wage. This is why you develop robotics that can make things 10X cheaper or even 100X cheaper with increased productivity. Unions are not going to care because by the time robotics are fully implemented to make everything, we would have created enough wealth for UBI. As long as ppl are able to live, they are not going to care where they get their money, whether it's from the government or through work. The pandemic has shown that. In the meantime, we practice decoupling and diversifying. China is not the only country that can make cheap s*** and make them well. And for essential items like biomedical items, it should be mandatory that they are made locally and not rely on outsourcing as again shown by the pandemic where first-line medical workers were dying because we relied on one country, China to make everything. So it's not China imports forever, or any country imports forever. Eventually it's robotics forever!!!
I think what happened here, is through our drunken swim through a strong economy from the 1990s to the present, we never realized that our dollar purchasing power appeared to stay stable, to the consumer, because we started outsourcing our manufacturing of things to SE Asia. So while the dollar deflates, we slowly get sucked into the import of cheep shit. So it is the illusion that our dollar is buying the same amount of quality. But under our noses, we never noticed where it was starting to come from. The biggest BULLSHIT in the world is going into a store to buy an American flag. You look at the tag, and it says "Made in China". WTF!
Nope, I'm just an independent & impartial observer, don't have any agenda, I just report of things of which I think that are worth to report b/c of the corporate lie presstitutes brainwashing the public with their fake news and paid-by-govt&richy-sc*m-like-soros propaganda, and filtering the truth, hiding the truth.
Ofcourse...OfCourse... Just out of curiosity, you live in Germany. But seem to have very strong opinion about two countries which is far away...
