10 is baseline for both sides. 20 are for fentanyl penalties however the chinese already responded by banning calvin klein and others firms, export controls on rare earth, cancelled all us crops buying of the year and oils etc., trade division to brazil, prior to fools day.

the crazy part is everyone forgot everything so soon in the mainstream media news search, only right wingers are keeping scores, for real or fake.

  3. The whole purpose of tariffs was to bring manufacturing back to the US , and to stop the flow of fentanyl. Is the flow of fentanyl going to stop and when are the jobs going to come?

China’s Exports to the U.S. Are Now Less Tariffed Than Before

Pre-"Liberation Day": Up to 145% tariffs on certain goods.

Now: Just 30%, even on many of the high-tech goods that were previously targeted.

This makes a range of Chinese goods more competitive in U.S. markets again—especially consumer electronics, green tech components, and tools used by U.S. manufacturers.

China now supplies many goods to the U.S. more cheaply than it could before.
The term “truce” may sound neutral, but economically, China has secured short-term advantage in trade flows without abandoning its strategic posture.
