German chancellors bring CEO's with them to every single country they visit just like any other country's leaders. It's nothing new. And Germany actually made Japan the first destination of its Asian visit this year so are we supposed to read something into that too? LOL The eagerness of China to attribute that as Germany's seeking of economic opportunities in China is interesting though. The thing is, the largest export partner of China is the evil evil United States but China decided to bite the hands of the evil evil United States that's been feeding China for the last twenty years and you think China is still going to be rich enough to have a market for German products? LOL China is having an economic slowdown thanks partly to its retarded zero-covid policy, how is it going to afford to buy Germany products? All those CEO's that went to China with Scholz according to this article are all companies that are not looking to give money to China but getting money from China and China's got no money to give. LOL
As far as tributes go, China gets Hamburg port 24.9% equity stake, a full mini-copper production line transplant from Oxford UK, and BASF €10 billion Verbund project. The Chinese will at minimum, flip the LNG contracts from US at smaller markups before this war ends. And perhaps Siemens can replace GE and Honeywell businesses wherever they compete. As the world is becoming bifurcated, betting on multiple outcomes is always a prudent move.

I think the whole German media is reporting fake news from this China visit of the German delegation. They write Scholz has criticized China blah blah blah... but I think in reality nothing of it happened at all; the media is IMO lying. The media outlets (like Spiegel and Welt) use exact the same one article by dpa (German Press Agency), ie. 1:1. This just shows that they had the order to bring that dictated news... How can this be?
