You'd have better odds dismissing anything Trump says tooting his own horn. I called it a lie without any evidence on page one. It's almost a statistical certainty at this point.

I could say the same thing for any article coming out of CNN.

I posted the article, saying right out in the open that I had no idea if it was true or not.

  6. Commie elites don't want the hoi polloi to wake up one day and have the epiphany..."Hey, this Chinese Commie crap sucks"!

The civil unrest is the Chinese imposing their premature rule on HK, Taiwan and other minorities (Uygur); basically self-inflicted. I don't see mainland China rising in arms over the economy anytime in the next 5 yrs.

I said it before and I'll say it again: "privileged" Americans underestimate the nationalism of 3rd world countries. They'll burn their house down before giving an inch to interventionist policies.

I've lived in a third world country for many years. How about you? I don't underestimate anything.

  10. Of course China "seeks a calm end to the trade dispute". That happens if it all goes away and they're left holding all of the chips. Personally, I think that's how it ends... minus a couple of fringe scraps for Trump so that he can save face in "getting a deal"... but he won't get one of financial consequence.
