I thought that was a traditional korean meat tenderising process. Seriously, they do still eat dogs there, dont they? Or was that just a cantonese thing?
I lived in China for a short time...I just couldn't take it! I was forced to eat a soup made of snake, chicken and cat. CAT!!! I really like cats (as pets)! I do know they beat dogs to tenderise them in Korea before killing them..and...(gulp) eating them
