Well, I was taught to look both ways before crossing the street and to brush my teeth twice a day. However, I'm pretty sure I never once saw my parents do the Pledge. Mercor and Fortune Teller, do you guys recite the Pledge everyday (including weekends) or know anybody who does?
Maybe if parents did tell their kids to pledge allegiance to America we wouldn't have so many people in this country who hate it like Brittany Griner. And there are millions who think just like her. And how in the world do you know your parents did not pledge the allegiance in school? What country do you pledge allegiance to anyway. I can't believe you are against it. Do you love America? If not, you have no business running for President and I ask you right now to quit that dream of yours.
I'm sure they did the Pledge in school. They just never said it to me and I doubt they ever said it on their own. I don't currently pledge allegiance to any country. There's really no reason for me to do so. If I became President then I would pledge to do my best for America. I do like America. In fact, I like it so much that I haven't renounced my citizenship and moved to one the other almost 200 countries. I have no plans to change that despite paying very high taxes. The main reason is my connection to the people here. All the family I know are American. Most of my friends are American and live in America. Only being able to be here 90 or 180 days of the year if I need to be would be rough.
If you don't pledge allegiance to America, then you think every other country on Earth is equal to America? I'm pretty sure the Democrats are to blame for high taxes? Sounds like you do like America though. Good for you.
